Douleus Sans Frontières provides relief from the symptoms and stress of serious illness. They focus on helping the quality of life of people through continuous care for patients with cancer and palliative care in Cambodia. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family. Doctors and nurses from the organization visit then regularly patient with a focus in pain relief and helping caretaker. 

Most of taker aren’t comfortable with end of life issues and they begin with a sense of insecurity but after having moved beyond fear, a feeling of confidence may fill their days as it feels good to do things for others. There is often a feeling of honest connection and closeness with the terminally ill person. This often brings a strong feeling of self-esteem as you realize how good it is to help someone in such a situation, the Honeymoon until it is time to let it go.
